| Advice & information dissemination project: |

Our activities are earmark for the local community in east London particularly in Tower Hamlets and Hackney.

- General support and advice service on social welfare benefits, education, referrals and basic advocacy.
- Arrange training on job search, CV writing, mock interview etc; work as resource center for job-news. Youth clubs for young people 11-16yrs age group two days a week

| Advice and Information Service |
|
The service aims to offer mainly advice and information in order to seek the relief of poverty and distress through providing information service that is free, confidential, impartial, and independent and promote clients’ confidence in obtaining their entitlement.We also operate telephone-help line for emergency cases i.e. domestic violence, racial harassment and victim of crime – OUR PHONE NUMBER IS 020 7702 8830 AND WE ANSWER BETRWEEN THE HOURS OF MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS 10AM – 1PM.. We run services on Monday 10AM to 1PM (by appointment only) - Tuesday 10 AM to 1PM (drop-in) to its office.

| Youth project: |
|
The Group emphasizes a lot on the youth development activities with a view to create the next generation in such a manner that they reflect the aspirations of the family, community and the country. Specially tailored social communication approach is underway in delivering the services to eliminate the existing malevolence among the youths within its sway.

Every Thursday evening 10am -1pm girl’s project run careers advice and job search sessions for young women at the Boulcott Street centre, E1 OHR.

| Capacity Building Training |
|
The Capacity building training programs are designed to assist the Management Committee members, volunteers and given them an opportunity to gain necessary skills and abilities based on their experiences in the voluntary sector. BYG runs C.B. Training every month one session on issues i.e. role and responsibilities of M.C. members, Finance, conducting meeting, managing staff, raising funds etc.

| English, Math’s, Science & Mother tongue |

We provide all levels of tuition- from complete beginners through GCSE to A level- in English, Maths and Science, as well as Bengali language and literature The two tutors and volunteers run classes two days a week Saturday and Sundays 10 to 12am at the Bijoy Office at 2/4 Boulcott Street, London E1 OHR.

| Play Schemes, Day trips, Sports & Counseling. |
|
In addition to educational services, the group runs Play Schemes, Day trips, Sports & Counseling. Youth workers coordinate a wide range of activities for boys and girls with a wide variety of interests and needs. These include holiday play schemes, day trips and outings, single sex residential courses, seminars, festival celebrations, sports and counseling.
